Loeb unable to restart in France

To the disappointment of hundreds of thousands of French rally fans, Sebastien Loeb will not restart the Rally of France for day two after his earlier engine issue. The Citroen team has inspected the data and the engine in the #1 DS3 WRC, but feels it would be too much of a risk to send the seven-time world champion back out to the stages.

Ford will use team orders in France

Ford has admitted that it will be using team orders to put Mikko Hirvonen ahead of Jari-Matti Latvala at the end of the Rallye de France Alsace and ensure a grandstand finish to this year's World Rally Championship. With seven-time world champion Sebastien Loeb retiring as a result of engine problems on day one of the event, Hirvonen has his best chance yet of winning an inaugural world title.

Tyler D Hudson scored an impressive victory in the inaugural iRacing.com Late Model Invitational tournament last night at Iowa Speedway. A winner in one of the evening?s four semi-final online races, Hudson started from the pole position, took the lead at the start and was never headed. Texan Charles Cosper, another semi-final winner, kept things close throughout the 30 lap event.
